"Threads below this..." issue

    Several weeks ago I noticed that after logging in and selecting "New Posts" the "threads below this..." notation started appearing before the first thread instead of the normal spot several pages later where I last logged in. Obviously I did something inadvertently to cause this; any idea what I did and how to change it back? It's a minor issue and one I can live with since I normally scan through multiple pages anyway, but she f there's an easy fix, why not?

    I'm using Safari on my iPad.
