I am looking for users of either brand to post their thoughts on either the EPOS M12.2 or Triangle Comete. Forward, laid back, colored, neutral, harsh? Just any thoughts you may have. Also include what amp or receiver you may be using.

    Thanks

I've heard the Comete a number of times and find it to be a very good speaker for the money. I think the treble is slightly forward but not bright with a clear and natural midrange and detailed rather than full bass. I think Triangle speakers work best with tubes or warmer sounding SS amps. Another speaker in this price range I really like is the Von Schweikert VR-1. Hope this helps and good luck with whatever you buy.

Thanks, Scot. I would be pairing it with a B&K AVR-507. Bass is not an issue regardless of what I go with as I have a powered sub in my system. So accurate, neutral reproduction is what I am looking for.
