Well, I need to decide on a set fairly quickly. The 34" widescreen toshiba looks relaly nice and some people have recommended it. Also, audioreviews.com has 3 users giving it 5 stars. I wondered if anyone owns one or is condidering one and what thier thoughts were. Here's the link:

I have had this set for a couple of weeks. Do a search using 34HF81 and you will see my post of my first impressions. BTW I still love it.

I have it, and it is absolutely fantastic! I made a really nice stand for it, if you want one I can sell you one for about $8000 ;) (just because I don't really want to make another one)

I calibrated one a couple of weeks ago and I would strongly consider this set if I were looking for a tube set in that size.

Re calibration:

well you can start by buying (then using) video essentials or Avia.

To get an accurate grey scale you will have to get it professionally calibrated.
