We have been joking around in my office about those softcore movies shown all the time on Cinemax. We laugh because they always star the same 10 or so actors/actresses. So are pretty funny and one I saw almost could be a real movie. ;)

Those flicks are great fun. When I had Skinemax, my girlfriend and I used to watch them and crack up. The sex scenes are so poorly done it's a joke, and the awful acting is a gas.

All I have now is Showtime, and it's a poor substitute.

They show some crappy flicks like these on HBO Zone sometimes. It's the worst of both worlds: lame sex scenes mixed with crappy acting.

I liked it better about 7 years ago when cable would show 1970's european soft core porn. Much better to watch than the 1990's LA versions. Plus all the men wore fur coats and drove Ferarris

When I had Cinemax I was a big Monique Parent fan but most of those gals look freakish and bizarre. Showtime sex flicks are severely cut and HBO's Real Sex is anything but.

The only erotic thing on cable is Taxicab Confessions. Some of those people are craaaazy.

Making someone watch "Real Sex" has to be the best way to get someone to abstain from sex. Why does it seem like the only people on that show are either 50+ old hippies or pierced and tattooed skanks and junkies? Man that show is a turnoff, and not very interesting either, with very few exceptions.

Want another laugh at my expense? I can probably name all 10. Starting with my favorite, Gabriella Hall

I agree with TOm.

The ones nowadays are shit compared to ones you could see on Cinemax years ago

I agree with JonZ and Tom. I can't quite put my finger on it... Maybe it's that I like the "girl next door" look and not the silicone-and-collagen combo current Skinemax flicks offer.

Now, Susan Featherly and Jacqueline Lovell... *growl* :b

What was the name of that aerobicize exercise show on I think showtime many years ago? Where the girls would be exercising and the camera would slowly circle around them. Damn. Those were the days.:b

Actually there doesn't seem to be much silicone in most of the actresses, maybe because Shauna O'Brien got all the silicone. My God I think they're going to burst. Not that there's any doubt those are fake, but every now and then they show an older movie that she was in before getting the implants.

Seriously, there are several actresses who either don't have implants or their surgeon deserves a Nobel prize. The aforementioned Gabriella Hall, Kira Reed, and Kim Dawson come to mind. And there are others where it's not a question because they're not even big, for example Monique Parent and Susan Featherly were mentioned, plus Kim Yates.

I always have a laugh when I spot one of these actresses on a network TV show. The winner would have to be Krista "Emmanuelle" Allen.

I have't seen so many fake breasts since Heavy Metal. ;)

I also preferred the old European/UK soft core that Cinemax and HBO used to show (like Young Lady Chatterley, Emmanuel, and The Story of O.

I wouldn't subcribe to any of those crappy movie channels until they start showing a lot of movies in OAR.

Okay, I have to cop to being a Gabriella Hall fan as well. I remember seeing a "movie" with her and waiting for her to, you know, perform, but she seemed to be the only one not gettng nekkid. It made me have to go and figure out who she was so I could find another one of those flicks with her in it.
I'm also interested in Lorissa McComas, though she's bordering on looking just as fake as Shauna O'Brien. And lately, I've become entranced by Flower Edwards.
Okay, I have to stop, I'm scaring myself. :D

Well, Ken, the Skinemax movies are generally straight-to-video stuff, so it IS being shown in its OAR :D

I knew I'd seen her somewhere! When I saw the "CSI" episodes, I felt guilty, but I didn't know why. Then she got all sweaty on "Smallville" and it clicked. Friday nights when nothing else is going on, you just can't help it...
