http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/16199/feige-talks-hulk-sequel-thor-in-avengers-

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige tells SFX Magazine (via Superhero Hype) that he hopes that their upcoming "The Avengers" is more than just a "team superhero movie with a bunch of characters with powers".

In the process he let slip that the Hulk, a character that hasn't been as firmly linked with the film as Iron Man or Thor, is a definite for the project. He also hasn't ruled out a potential second "Incredible Hulk" film with Edward Norton, saying "That would be post-'Avengers,' if it happened... I think there's a chance. It's certainly our intention to use the same actors from film to film where we can."

One of the biggest questions with "The Avengers" is the still lingering question of mixing heightened reality-based heroes like Iron Man, Nick Fury, Hulk and Captain America with the outright mythological fantasy hero Thor. Feige was adamant it won't be a problem, saying "we're doing the Jack Kirby/Stan Lee/Walt Simonson/J. Michael Straczynski 'Thor.' We're not doing the blow-the-dust-off-of-the-old-Norse-book-in-your-library 'Thor.' In the 'Thor' of the Marvel Universe, there's a race called the Asgardians and we're linked through this Tree of Life that we're unaware of. It's real science, but we don't know about it yet. The 'Thor' movie is about teaching people that."

There will also be elements that will move forward with Marvel Studios unprecedented plan to create a unified universe of heroes and stories that spreads across films, including the upcoming Captain America movie in 2011 and "Iron Man 2," which arrives May 7 as one of the most anticipated movies of 2010.

"It's going very, very well," Branagh said Wednesday. "We're in New Meixco now where we have a contemporary Earth part of our story. I guess we're two-thirds of the way through the story and at this stage of the game what's surprising and delighting me is the way the cast, the ensemble, has fused together. It's kind of an interesting combination of very young and very experienced people and the double-up of that, it seems to me, is there is a lot of fire in the movie. It doesn't take itself too seriously, it doesn't try to be too solemn.

Q: Why aren’t you in Thor? Sam: I have no idea. I'm not in charge of making those decisions. I thought I was. They said I was in the trades, and I was like, "Oh, I've got a job!" And then, I called my agent and she said, "Nah, you're not in it. They misprinted." I was like, “Well shit, they need to pay me just 'cause they put my name in it."

Looking good! Thor was my favorite comic as a kid so you can imagine how much I'm anticipating this movie.

Somehow, a video of the highly sought after secret scene from Iron Man 2 ended up on YouTube, it was quickly taken down of course, but many of us got a chance to glimpse it first. Here is the description. MAJOR SPOILERAGE, do not make the jump if you want to be surprised at the end of the movie..

If you haven[/img]
We see a car pull up in a desert setting. The license plate is revealed as 8RE 2Z1. A man exists the car and stands at the top of a hill looking down at something. Its SHIELD agent Coulson and he is watching a lot of exited activity buzzing around a large crater in the ground. He turns away and speaks on his phone..

10920L.JPG

"Sir, we've found him" He says.

The camera pans back to the crater and reveals Thor's hammer Mjolnir in all it's cool, faithful to the original comics, glory!

In fairness, this wasn't too much of a surprise. Screen writer Justin Theroux pretty much gave away the easter egg when he said this..

No, [the easter egg's] got to be very specific because you can’t…if it was all of a sudden Tony opens a tool box and there’s a friggin’ hammer in there, you can’t bone the next guy. You know it’s not like…you want to create possibilities. So that’s a very thought out piece. If the shield all of a sudden just falls out of the sky, whatever it is, whatever that thing is, you want to be very specific about it.

Anyway, still mighty cool I'm sure you will agree.

SHH: We’ve finally seen you in the costume. How did it feel to have the Thor costume on – the very first time, and for four months? Hemsworth: [Laugh] Yeah, right! Okay, exactly – I put the thing on and said "It’s not very comfortable, but it looks amazing, so it’s all good." And then a couple of weeks in, I thought "It’s getting more and more uncomfortable," and at the end of three, four months it was a pretty difficult thing to wake up and put on every morning. But it’s sells such an image in the picture. It does a lot of the work for you.

Ya know the more I look at that costume the less I'm liking it.

This is the look of Thor that I was hoping for on the big screen......

Oh well.

I think the lower half of the suit is too bland.

I also would have preferred something a bit more like the pic above. More viking, middle earth or chainmail looking.

And the helmet is confirmed and will be worn, its just not used in that concept art.

I think this is better than what theyre using.

The race is to get everything locked down for Comic Con in San Diego in two weeks. Marvel Studios has a panel planned for 6pm on the Saturday night of the convention which is where it's expected to reveal the first footage from "Thor" and finally confirm Whedon's involvement in an official capacity. However there's some pretty solid talk going around that all the major cast members of 'The Avengers' (Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans) will appear on stage together for the first time.

The costumes look a little better in context. Loki is recognizable.
