Beat's me, someone's idea of a bad joke.

If someone wants to spend that kind of money they should get something of quality like a one of the 18"s from Resonant Engineering.

What if you could get it for $199.00?

I'd say you would have probably thrown away $199.00! [IMG] It's obviously a car audio driver (look at that Qts!) and without more in depth specs you'd be taking some pretty extreme risks.

Hell, put another $91.00 with that $199.00 and get yourself an BP 1804. You'd definitely know what you were getting there.[IMG]

I have a friend with an resonant engineering hc 15 in his car. Very beefy sub. Doesn't the XXX line use xbl^2 for their motors?

Dont get me wrong, I was not planning on buying it.

It is on EBAY (new) but the guy claims there were
    only 30 made!!!

I emailed him for specs 5 hours ago & then also did a
fairly extensive search on the net...couldnt find squat!

    That's not surprising .....

Unfortunately the Japanese are infamous for their poor loudspeakers. Now there certainly are some exceptions to that statement, but this isn't one of them ..... [IMG]

Maybe it's for flash... That's a big 18" cone and would look pretty intimidating in the trunk of a civic. It probably wouldn't sound too bad as a car audio driver.. The sensitivity is relatively high.

    hehe

I think the Xmax is around 25-26mm.

I believe that all the 03 series have a one-way excursion of 25.95mm to be exact.

    ???

Are you talking about the 18" Panasonic that I was trying to find the Xmax for?

The BP1503 has an Xmax of 25.85 .

    Cam,

No. He was referring to the Blueprint drivers.
