I'll be at Disney World for Halloween which will be fun in its own right but I'll hate not being home to hand out treats and have the projector showing some scary classics on the garage door.
I'll be bringing my portable DVD player and a few favorites to watch that night such as Fright Night, Halloween, and The Omen.

Ended up watching The Fog before the debate instead

Tomrrow

RE: Fright Night

I picked this up Saturday out of Wal-Mart's $5.50 bin but it actually rang up $7.50. They had several copies so you might want to check there.

Uh oh, this could mean that Fright Night's Widescreen side could be up for jettison. I guess I should not wait on this.

Quick question, is Fright night NOT in Widescreen?

If so, is it anamorphic?

(ah crap, why don't I just do a search on DVD-Basen or somethin?)

FRIGHT NIGHT is anamorphic. A P&S version is on side A with the widescreen on side B. The one I got at Wal-Mart featured both sides.

For now.

If Fright Night can now be found in Wal*Mart's bin, I would say it is suspect for the removal of the widescreen side.

I second Matt's pick of Halloween 1,2, and H20.

The best story arc of the series which just so happens to feature Jamie Lee, H8 notwithstanding.

Not even she could resurrect that one.
