    Hi everyone,

I just purchased a KP-51WS510 (very excited!) and I got it from a place that does not sell their own extended warranties. So I was wondering if anyone has dealt with a third party warranty company (such as Viking or WarrantyByNet) in dealing with repairs on a similiar TV set. Or if they wouldn't recommend it all. The prices seem reasonable - about $230 for 4 years; in home service; no deductible. I know that most people feel if something goes wrong, it's generally in the first year, but sometimes I'd rather be safe than sorry.

If anyone has info or recommendations, I would be most appreciative.

    Thanks,
    Steve

My brother and I have warrantybynet for auto coverage. I have never used the service, but my brother has used them several times w/o any problems.

Someone said "the greatest luxury is piece of mind".

I'd do it, but do a bit of research on the warranty companies.
