From everything I have been reading about contrast ratio with OLED, I'm getting pretty excited about it. Much more than 4K. But if OLED will be 6X more than a LCD HDTV, I probably will be waiting a little.

OLED TV panel modules sized 55-inch are expected to be six times more expensive than similar LCD modules in 2014, down from eight times in 2013, according to market observers. Based on the OLED improvements, material costs for OLED TV panels should shrink to about six times compared to LCD module pricing in 2014, which should drive down end market pricing for the TVs as a result.

Love OLED! The Sony HMZ-T1 has always presented reference quality visual images since their 2011 HMD release. Although a personal viewer, it was not a bad price for $799.00 USD.

BTW, the new Sony HMZ-T3 is supposed to have a US release this November.
