I have a Sony 5ES and want to add a two channel amp so I can have a 7.1 setup. I was thinking of getting an Audio Source amp one, what do you guys think? My room is 30' long by 16' wide and the amp would be use for the rear surrounds.

I can also wire the two rear surrounds in series and use the 6 channel amp on the Sony but I don't know how the Sony would react. The speakers are a pair of Swan Divas 2.1's and they are rated at 8 ohms. Let me know what you guys think?

Juan, I have the DA5ES also & just have my rears wired in series to the rear center. I have a pair of Polk RT55i's on them,I went this way as I had planned on going 7.1 down the road but so far haven't seen the need to as it dose really well like it is.
IMO if you got the money to go 7.1 go for it, but if you have other things in mind the Sony will do fine by itself.
