Think the ps2 optical cable will work in xbox?

    Pretty much, yeah. The connectors should be the same.

    A 'Toslink' cable is a industry standard cable. Both the PS2 and the X-Box HD pack use Toslink cables, just like almost every DVD player on the market. I know that the X-Box Monster Cable uses a special cable that only conforms to the Toslink standard at one end of the cable, so just go with the microsoft HD pack. It works great ...but you will need to supply the Toslink cable in case you did not already know.
