Aaron, it was an attempt to keep it HT related, being a famous quote from the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". I don't think anyone was really sutggesting Led Zep.;)

I can't believe no one has mentioned Celine Dion or the Titanic Soundtrack.

Enya would be a good one too.

Another vote for Enigma here. I have personally used their first cd several times, and the wife and I to this day still, um, like to "listen" to it.

wow...talk about ressurection here!....I have followed this thread with great interest and um....implemented many of the suggestions at no small cost!

As before...my criteria centered around the main objectives of discovering music that evoked a sense of the erotic or at least strong romaticism appropriate to sexuality and; film that is evocative, sensual, sexual and erotic without all the trappings of what is normally regarded as porn - i.e. great cinematography, score and very importantly, something that amswers the question by women I know; "what's in it for me." A number of web sites have also been brought to my attention that do indeed have a lot of great information and resources for both men and women and which address a lot of different topics, questions, concerns, etc.

If interest in this thread continues, will be happy to post a review at some point of what I've heard and seen; a number of people have also emailed me privately which I have also appreciated.

As a quick side note...did pick up the Massive Attack suggestion last night on the way home...very nice...have purchased many other recommendations in this thread!

Enya can be good.

Deep Forest Boheme & Comparosa also work well.

Also Barry White.. can't go wrong with that.

Enigma is a good one.

Nine Inch Nails - Downward Spiral can be a classic if the mood is right ;)

You can try services like http://www.urentdvd.com/ and then "try" a few DVDs to see what works for you; they have them classified down to "women friendly" as compared to say "weird and insanely gross" which are also present.

These votes for Enigma and Enya make me think you guys watch too much Cinemax, but I guess whatever works. :)

For those liquidy slow, dreamlike encounters, try the Solaris soundtrack by Cliff Martinez. It gets frequent play at our house. :D

But yeah, that first Enigma album is the true way to go.
