Does anyone know if it's Eddie Murphy who says "Them's just jokes!" in one of his routines? If so, do you know where he says it? Delirious, Comedian or Raw? If it's the first two, can you break it down into a specific track on the tape/CD? Thanks.

While we're at it, where does "hopped up on goofballs" come from?

I think "hopped up on goofballs" may have come from either a Hunter S. Thompson book, or perhaps it was said by someone on a TV cop drama or in a movie, that sounds more likely to have been a way the phrase entered the public consciousness.

Chief Wiggum said it about Flanders when he was arresting him in front of the passing church bus. I don't have the impression that this was the original source of the phrase, though.
