I trust your memory more than any other HTFer, and I'm not joking. Wiki has it listed as mixed reception, but only quotes a handful of sources. I knew D&D nerds back in my teens and this episode felt real because of that. Fun, cool little mystery, and Scully as the party girl was hot.

A favorite part of the episode was Timmy The Geek's "Government Patsy" T-shirt with Oswald getting shot. If it wouldn't make me look like a paranoid maniac, I'd wear that shirt.

Oh my goodness, my brother and his wife had a date night recently, and dropped my 13 year old nephew off at my house to hang out for a few hours. He picked up my X-Files season 1 Blu-Ray set, and asked if we could watch an episode instead of playing a video game.
ABSOLUTELY! He wanted me to pick one of my favorites, so I chose "Ice". He absolutely loved it(and even I forgot how good an ep It is)
Needless to say, he is now a super fan of the show and wants all the seasons to own.
