Hello,

This film came out in 1959 starring Harry Belefonte, Inger Stevens. I have been trying to find out who own the rights to this film. I know Warner Bros. has taken over some of MGM titles. Does Warner Bros. have the rights to this film?

Warner Bros. owns all pre-1986 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer films.

Can you explain to me if Warner holds the rights to pre-MGM 1986, how is it that these titles have been released by MGM and not warner?

Those are UA titles, MGM doesn't have a cut-off date on that library.
