I'm used to it looking grainy in the black and white parts and washed out and faded in the color parts. When I saw it last night on DVD, I was surprised how crystal clear the black and white parts were, and how bright and colorful the colored parts looked. I'm certainly glad I bought the DVD and don't have to watch it on TV or VHS anymore.

Would I be nitpicking if I mentioned that the "black & white" parts aren't, but rather are sepia-toned? :)
