Went to four different stores, and I have to admit, it was Tweeters (eventhough I waited forever for assistance) that told me of the newer model. All is pretty much the same except for the some cosmetic differences and this MIDX circuitry. Not sure what it is but it's the same price as the older S510 model. Tweeter also fed the HD signal through it and I was impressed. So far it looks like Circuit City because the salesman said he would give me a deal if I buy the Samsung Upscale DVD player with DVI out. Thanks for all your help I should be ordering this baby in about 2 weeks for delivery.

i've got last years model, the 510. i'm very pleased with it. haven't had a chance to check out hd content at home but dvds look great after tweeking it with avia.

I just learned the difference between the two is that the latest model have seperate HDMI and DVI inputs.
