I just watched this documentary for the first time and strongly recommend it. It was an absolute treat to watch a former a homeless street musician in San Francisco, who fond purpose and meaning in his life from a flock of wild parrots. It's amazing how animals can lift someones spirts and it certainly did in this case.

Yes, I am very much looking forward to this getting released in Australia. Sounds like a fascinating story.

I was in San Franscisco for a conference this spring and had the good fortune to see this in a theater less than a mile away from Telegraph Hill. It remains one of the most pleasant surprises of my filmgoing year. Mark Bittner & "his" parrots are all fascinating characters, and the ending is the most unexpectedly joyous in many a year.
