heh... yes, I am the ultimate Nintendo "fanboy" I just call it 'customer loyalty'... I have and always will stick with Nintendo just because I like their games. I respect those who like Microsoft or Sony... I think it is just a "whatever floats your boat" situation when it comes to consoles. Nintendo has always been the true innovator in my mind though

thanks for taking care of the thread folks. I just wanted to know what you guys thought, should we include individual games or a series? For example, in nomination of, say, a Madden game, should the series or the individual game be nominated? I was thinking about this the other day, and thought how each new Madden was only an improvement with graphics and gameplay. Just a thought. What do you guys think?

Individual games. Some years the quality seemed to peak, or take a turn, then the next it seemed to only slighty improve.

Take Tony Hawk. The first was great, but two so surpassed the first in every way, that it was like a fully realized experince. Though Tony Hawk 3 rendered 2 unplayable, it wasn't the leap that 2 was from 1.

Same with NFL2k series. I'd nominate NFL2K over NFL2K1 (though I didn't, as I see as I'm typing this) because NFL2K was such a breath of fresh air, and 2K1 wasn't as shocking.

So, individual games instead of series, I'd say.
