Ruta Lee appears in many, many TV shows of the 50's and 60's. It would probably be easier to make a list of TV shows she didn't appear in than those she did. She did a lot of Western TV shows appearing in all the biggest TV westerns from 57-65. She also appeared in many movies.

I think she was on some game shows too.
I remember her as the glamourous roller of some giant sized dice on an NBC game show called "High Rollers". She was all over television in the sixties and seventies.

I am very interested in picking up this set. I'm waiting on a price break. Hoping that there is another great deal on these soon.

Any recommendations?

I am following this thread now and will update when I pick up the set.

I had season 1 and I thought the sound and picture was fantastic.

they did have a good deal on it awhile back, but i already had it.

if you are patient, you will more than likely be able to pick it up reasonably.

Thanks! I saw some of the previous deals! The complete set on blu ray for around $50?!?!?

I just ordered The Dick Van Dyke show complete series on blu ray for $59.99 for my wife. I had been waiting on that one as well, but kept missing out on the deals.

The set is so worth it. I was going to buy it for myself, but I caught a hint that someone was getting it for me as a gift, so I don't know what it ultimately cost... but it's worth every penny. Been slowly enjoying it over the past year, and it's really like seeing all of these episodes again for the first time. I've only scratched the surface on the bonus features but those are impressive as well. Most episodes have a commentary, and there's all sorts of vintage video clips as well.

You might be waiting quite a while to find it at $60 again (maybe even forever) but considering that the MSRP is $400, even the $130 price on Amazon right now is a great deal. If I were you, I'd grab it when you see it around $100 (which would be about 65 cents an episode). I love the series and the Blu-rays are great so I have no regrets about having paid around $50 for each season.

I've loved this show since I was a kid. Still love it, although I haven't watched it much lately. As we were talking in our other threads about our top shows and favorite episodes of various series, I started turning over in my mind my personal favorites of the Twilight Zone. With 156 episodes it's very hard to limit it to ten, but I'm going to give it a try. Perhaps other fans can list some favorites too?

1. The Midnight Sun
2. Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?
3. An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge
4. The Dummy
5. A Game of Pool
6. Third From the Sun
7. One for the Angels
8. The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
9. Number 12 Looks Just Like You
10. A Stop at Willoughby

Still many, many favorites left out....

Anyone else?
