I've dragged my feet buying The Train, so going to order at Screen Archives since it's out of stock at Twilight Time. But one of those that I want to place an order for is Black Widow, which came by mistake with a regular blue case.

Anyone know if Screen Archives offers the free clear case replacement upon request like Twilight Time mentions at their Black Widow product page? Or I wonder if TT perhaps the next time I place an order direct with them, would be willing to include a spare clear case when I explain?

I'd like of like to keep all my Twilight Time releases matching, but it's obviously not too terribly important at the end of the day. Also going to order The Whole Town's Talking and Gidget.

The single disc cases sell for $1.25 each on the TT site (double cases are $1.75 each). I suppose you could reach out to Screen Archives to see if the case is bundled with the disc? The description doesn't indicate the free case.

It looks like SAE has single disc clear blu-ray cases in packs of 5 for $5.00. If you have other blu cases you wanted to replace with clear cases, that might be easier.

I suppose you might reach out to TT via the Facebook page.

Keep in mind that TT also has ClassicFlix titles on sale. As well TT has Flicker Alley titles at a discount over MSRP. You may just order Black Widow (1954) through TT.

Not sure. But when I ordered mine from Twilight Time Movies I didn’t need to request one, it came with an extra clear case in the shipping box. I don’t think TTM can manually add something to an order you place, worst case they sell them for $1.25

Ditto. I usually order direct from TTM unless a specific title is only in stock at SA.

TTM does add these automatically if you order a title that was manufactured with a blue case. I actually tried to delete these clear cases from my order, as I don't care about the color, but it wouldn't let me.

I had several other titles including some 19.95 ones in my cart but reluctantly narrowed it down for budget reasons. I'm excited to finally upgrade my old DVDs of Henry Orient, How To Succeed, and Bound For Glory -- especially the latter 2 which are non-anamorphic. And I have fond memories of seeing Chilly Scenes (aka Head Over Heels) for the first and only time many years ago in an on-campus screening. I'm pretty sure it was the later "Chilly Scenes" re-cut of the film but it was a long time ago.... Anyway I remember being impressed by it and am looking forward to revisiting it.

Man Who Watched Trains Go By is from Classic Flix not Twilight Time . Only Twilight Time website has Classic Flix titles also on sale.

On another topic anyone who hasn't grabbed it yet should pick up THE WORLD OF HENRY ORIENT (1964) (SPECIAL PROMOTION) $5.95 . This Peter Sellers film is such a good movie and at $5.95 an unbelievably great bargain. Its a shame that it apparently didn't sell well and is now available at a fire sale price.

I picked up Manhattan Murder Mystery. I decided not to wait any longer. I now have completed my Woody and Diane on blu ray collection. If only Paramount would release "Play it Again, Sam"
