If only Twilight Time could release "Sahara" on Blu-ray.

I see it's being released on Blu-ray in France on October 27th, but it's from Sidonis, so I'm sure it'll have unremovable subs. I've seen it on TV in HD a few times looking okay, it may well be coming from TT.

I have it in HD in my digital library on Amazon Prime. It's only in SD on iTunes and Vudu.

It will most likely be mono, the same as the WB DVD, although we will try to recreate the score in stereo for the isolated track. The difference between the 148 minute and the 160 minute versions is the inclusion of an overture, entr'acte, and exit music, which we will try to recreate as we did for Judgment at Nuremberg, but the elements are missing at this time.

Read the ad carefully. It indicates this is a Redwind Productions Signature release. Both SAE and the Twilight Time storefront release items not produced by TT [see TT's 4K listings]. Loving You on BluRay what an incredible treat this will be.
Elvis Presley, his first starring role in his second film.
The only colour film Elvis made in the 1950s and his most underrated.

in the period 1956-1958 Elvis made four films.
Jailhouse Rock 1957 is the most famous.
King Creole 1958 is the best he made
Love Me tender 1956 is know as his first.

but Loving You 1957 is hardly ever on TV, at one time only NBC had the rights to televise it.
and its home video rights are not held by Paramount so it has had sporadic releases to the home market.

Fewer people know this film, but so many need to.
it shows as close to the Elvis of the 1950s as we will ever see.

it contains what many fans consider his best musical sequence on film - Mean Woman Blues!
yes, not Jailhouse Rock.

I used to have a 35mm dye-transfer 1957 Technicolor print of LOVING YOU but it deteriorated with Vinegar Syndrome.

The VistaVision footage is razor sharp and the intended aspect ratio is 1.85:1.
