It appears Rapture is finally sold out -- the 4th overall Bluray release by TT in 2011. I really have no idea how this title lasted 3 years much less nearly 7.5.

Desiree and Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte also confirmed gone.
I can't find Violent Saturday so it may be history too.

I think that leaves 2 titles left from 2012
Roots of Heaven 1/2012
Beloved Infidel 12/2012

and only 3 from 2013 unless I'm overlooking items
Pony Soldier 2/2013
Alamo Bay 9/2013
Royal Flash 12/2013

I don't know the answer for sure, but I presume that's how it is. I've always wondered why an isolated score is considered a "Feature" on TT discs? It seems like it would be better to offer a bonus CD of the score so, as you say, you can listen without watching the film and dealing with all the "down time" in the score.

I can't imagine watching a film using the isolated score, with long moments of silence punctuated by occasional moments of music.

Listened to the isolated music track on Inferno yesterday. Most of the time there was music playing.

Also, if the source is three-track and DTS-MA, as it is here, you would not reap the benefits on a cd. Plus I run the sub-titles which help you through the silent gaps and works for me.

I was listening to it through my car's stereo during a trip - not watching the video.

Looks like September releases are coming today....Ron has a locked post that I can see a link to on the homepage! :)

I think the new announcements are on Saturday (8am or 9am in the UK), I thought it might have been last Saturday, but I'm sure it'll be this one. Always interested in what new Sony masters are coming.

LORD JIM?

My first choice for a big format Columbia film would be Barabbas, & then purely for nostalgic reasons, The Long Ships (the HD version shown on TV doesn't look that hot, it maybe an upscale), but I'd have to buy Lord Jim if it's had the Sony treatment, Freddie Young shooting in 65mm :)

…& after the good news of The Life & Times Of Judge Roy Bean this week, hows about Mackenna's Gold to go with it.
