The Truth about Charlie to include 16x9 Charade (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I have the criterion version of charade which is a fine transfer, but it's not enhanced for widescreen displays. Why isn't universal releasing this terrific film separately instead of adding it as a bonus. Oh, well, at least, people will get a chance to see the original.

If anyone's picked this title up, can they comment on the Charade transfer. Thanks in advance.

I really hope that at some point in the future Universal chooses to release the 16x9 Charade by itself. I really don't want to pay a dime for that crappy remake just to get the good stuff.
