There was a scene in one of the S1 episodes where Tick
picked up a nice, shiny, spoon and under his breath said "spoon." I absolutely expected it to progress to the full version and was a bit sad when it did not.
I read about that a month or so back. Quite sad as I feel it's a really well done and fun series. I'd have absolutely watched more. At this point I hope they see fit to release it on physical media. I'd pick up both seasons.
I thought the second season was better than the first. It moved past the little-lost-boy story of Arthur and told the next phase of someone more self-possessed (insofar as Arthur can be). It had good themes and fun character arcs. I was enjoying Ms Lint's antagonist, anti-hero, antagonist roller coaster ride. And the setup for a potential third season has me wanting more!
I enjoyed Season 2, as well, Dave. It's too bad we will not see a third season. It seemed things were being setup for some interesting and fun plot lines.
