The Thing (1951) on TCM at 6:30 CST Today (1 Viewer)

I was noticing that this movie would be on today, and also noticed in the clips that were being shown, that the image quality looked better than I'm used too.
I have a vhs (gasp) off-the-air tape from TCM. The clips looked better than my tape. Guess I'll be taping it again. I think I've taped The Thing 4-5 times over the past couple of years. I'm always looking for a better image. This is one of my favorite all-time movies.

It's a great one for sure! I used to have a svhs taped copy (from TCM) but now I have the special edition laserdisc woohoo!!

Yeah, well, where's the special edition dvd? Ah, if only Criterion could get their hands on this...
