The theme music for CAPTAIN KANGAROO...? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know what this theme is called and who performed it (and whether or not it is available)? Sounds a lot like Leroy Anderson, but I don't think it is.

That theme was written by an English composer. It is part of a classical piece that he wrote. I don't know who the composer is and it would be considered English Light Classics. I can assure you that it is not Leroy Anderson - although his music would be considered American Light Classics. So, you were close.
