Can't believe no one has been talking about this. It was a bit of a daring move, making a follow-up to one of the most reviled specials of all time, but they did, and it was fun. It's not going to win any awards or inspire endless debate, but it's a way to have fun in the Star Wars universe for 47 minutes with pretty much every character ever. We watched it with the kids last night and everyone enjoyed it. It's a simple, yet clever conceit tying everything together from the sequel trilogy to the original and prequel trilogies, the Clone Wars, Rebels and even the Mandalorian. Wide use of actual voice actors from the films and the shows. No, it doesn't all make sense, but it makes more sense than the one from 1978. And who wasn't anxious to see Chewbacca's family again?
