With no U.S. DVD release of this Gary Collins potboiler series, there's at least this French version

I thought I'd read that the English subtitles could be turned off, but at least one of the reviews on Amazon says they cannot.

Does anybody have this set? Can you share some specific info about it (including subtitles)?

It seems to be the same version I've got, and if so - it only includes French subtitles which CAN be turned off.

I have the set and it's decent (not perfect) quality, but is in PAL format with the 4 per cent speed up. I had to rip them and convert them to their proper speed. I sent out a few emails last year to Via Vision and Kino Lorber hoping for a Blu Ray release. Via Vision said they would forward my suggestion to their acquisitions department.
