How about this double-header? It had me rolling on the floor. Lisa's comment about the "end of our series....of events" was good, especially being the season finale.
What was up with that 'screamapillar' anoyhow? :D

OMG; these were the two funniest shows I've seen this season. The one liners were hilarous. Two of the best I've seen so far. I need the "Edna Krabopoly" game. :)

I thought that both shows were great...but I have one question not really in relation to the shows. Why did they say that the one at 7:30 was the season finale when there is a new show on 5-22? I have always thought that a season finale was just that...the last one for the season...not a new one three nights from now?

Great episodes last night. Some of my favorite moments from last nights episodes:
Marge: "Finally, I place where I can sit with my thoughts!"
Marges Brain: "How much money did he piss away on this?"
The Republicans were great. Burns, Dracula, Krusty, Rich Texan, and Bob Dole reading from the Necronomican.
The Smoke Factory
The animals whispering like Homer
Homer drunk saying how he hates the fat guy in the Simpson family
Bart saying Homer couldn't provide for Marge in Monopoly
Burns doing Homer's job and getting caught slacking off (that was my favorite moment and one of my all time favs in Simpsons history)
Homer: "Play the race card"
Homer: (clenching fist) "Play it!"

Does anyone know if these will be re-broadcast anytime soon? I didn't realise it was on, thinking that the 2-hour finale replaced it.
Damn, I can't believe I missed Simpsons.

The way I understand it was that last night's episode was not the season finale. That comes on this Wednesday (I'm not sure why). These are the episodes that were shown:
7:00pm: Brawl in the Family (re-broadcast from earlier in the season)
7:30pm: The Frying Game (new episode)
Wednesday, May 22 - 8:00pm: Poppa's Got A Brand New Badge (new episode)
Last night's episode was pretty good. I also enjoyed the 'Green Mile' bit towards the end. :)

The season finale was the final nail in the coffin for me. I simply can't bear to watch what this show has turned into any longer. Me, my brother and our friend just sat silent when it was over. Looking back on this season, we could not think of a single great episode.

This truly saddens me, I am a Simpsons FREAK and I anxiously await seasons 2-8 on DVD. These last few seasons...bleh, I shudder to think about them (with the exception of the "Run Lola Run" spoof last year).

Great episodes last night. Some of my favorite moments from last nights episodes:

Marge: "Finally, I place where I can sit with my thoughts!"

Marges Brain: "How much money did he piss away on this?"
This is precisely my problem with the Simpsons nowadays. That statement simply is NOT Marge's character and they are doing this with every character. Everything now is over-the top with not a bit of good story or wit.

My favorite line from the "Season finale" was during the court room scene (I can't remember it word for word):

Judge: You have been charged with attempted insecticide and agrivated buggery!"

Second favorite line"

Homer is looking at Carmen Elektra's chest while talking to her.

Carmen: My eyes are up here.

Homer: I've made my choice.

The piss away money line was like the time when Homer talks to Lenny and Carl about a weekend trip and they start commenting on Marge in a sexual way. Marge pulls up, they are cordial to her and she says:

Aw, knock it off, you perverts!

Last night's episode was great too. All the detractors must be watching another alternate-reality Simpsons, as every one I've seen has cracked me up.
Homer listing off all his previous jobs...wow. I actually remembered most of the jobs that he listed.
"Monster put in wallet."
