I've liked the last few episodes, but I thought tonights was just bad. A couple funny moments, but overall just not an entertaining episode.

    But that's just my opinion.

"Aww man, I coulda smoked that pot! And worn that hair!"

The doped-up Homer scenes were a riot (reminded me somewhat of the glorious "Chili Festival" episode), but on the whole, it was a slight drop-off from some of the season's earlier episodes.

The beginning was good, but once the crows left it went downhill. Just like that ep w/Bart and the dog. I was on the floor, but when the dog left so did the laughs

Shooing the Flanders clan out of the garden was priceless, as was Homer naming all the crows:

    "There's Russell Crow, and Cameron Crow, and . . . ."

I liked the "pop-up video" gags with the image of Comic Book guy.

I still find the show amusing but I think the shows aren't very well intergrated. It feels more like a series of sketches than an episode.

It made me laugh. And although I don't know why I laughed hardest at Burns having Smithers to pull the string to make him slap them. There was better stuff in the episode, but this made me laugh the hardest.

If Comic Book Guy aka Mike St. Louis [IMG] (JK) says "A few laughs", then it's an instant classic. [IMG]

I thought it was very funny, I thought it was comparable to the Hallucinigenic pepper episode.

    Juh?

A good Simpsons episode has many, many laughs.

So for the amount I laughed at Sunday's episode, I would rate it as fair to average. Time will tell if it is a classic.

    Still, worth watching.

Now, make like my pants and SPLIT!

    Toodle-OO.

You're always hard on the show like 90% of the other people, which always confuses me as to why you all keep watching it. Anyway, I always remember the classics getting slammed in alt.simpsons (check their big web site and look up your favorite episode and check out its reviews). The Comic Book guy is partly a spinoff of those reviews and his line "Worst episode every" is seen in those reviews before he uttered it in the show.

The Simpsons is as good as it's ever been, this last episode is evidence of that (which is good because that Brazil episode wasn't that great). Homer on pot definitely makes me look forward to the rest of the season.

I thought last night's episode was hilarious! I agree that I think The Simpsons is still great, and last night's episode was proof of that.

When I tuned in I certainly didn't expect Homer the Pothead, but I laughed the whole time. I wonder why...

What I liked is it had 3 solid acts: Homer and the crows, Homer and the Pot, Homer and Mr. Burns... and each was solid. Homer on Pot the first few minutes I was in complete stitches, it slowly slowed down but once Mr. Burns "died" hilarity took over again. If you didn't like it, I feel bad for you.... Life is too short not to laugh your ass off once in a while.

The pot episode was funny as hell. I loved the bit where Flanders got to read the bible to Homer. Homer's expression after Ned finished reading was classic. The Burns bit when he had Smithers slapping all of them was great.
"Now all three of us." *SMACK* "Excellent." [IMG]
    "Our curtains smell like doob."
    "Your tonic is the chronic."
    "Shemp spelled backwards is Hemp!"
Great stuff. Oh, you also have to love how Homer started hanging out with Otto.
