Howdy all, I'm a HT noob and I've been researching my first front projection system for about a month now (Dont tell my boss [IMG])

I had almost settled on the Mitsubishi HC900 until I realized it's not true HDTV because the native resolution is too low for 720p (that would have been a big mistake).

I've since been looking into the Sharp XV Z2000 since the specs seem to match everything I'm looking for. I spent nearly 45 minutes in Ultimate Electronics watching the Sharp XV Z10000 in awe, which i realize is twice the price of the Z2000.

    Here are some quick specs:
    DLP HD2+ Chip
    2500:1 Contrast
    1200 Lumens
    1080i with compression
    720p native
    480p/i

The only differences I see between the Z2000 and the Z10000 are these:
Z10000 features "Sharp's advanced proprietary Computer Video & Integrated Composer (CV-IC) System II technology"

Thanks for the reply. I found a review of the Z2000 here:
at Projector Central (cant post URL since I dont have 15 posts yet [IMG])
and they seemed to love it. They compared it to the BenQ PE8700+ and the Sharp seemed to come out on top.
