The sentinel movie in multizone player (1 Viewer)

Hi, does anyone now if the movie the sentinel movie has somekind of new protection.

I live in europe, have allmost 500 zone 1 movies, and everyone of them work in my Pioneer Dv-717. But to day i received a new copy of the movie "the sentinel" and the player is saying this is wrong region. My other discs works just fine.

Any info would be great. Maybe i need a new player here...:-(

Is the DVD an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray DVD? Sentinel Was just released in HD you may have the new format DVD, which would require a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray DVD Player depending on the format of the DVD.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Its a standard DVD disc. Im using a Pioneer Dv-717. From 1998 i think..
