Yes, the Svet one. It's just what you'd expect from over there. Lots of damaged slipcases "I've returned five copies because it had a scratch on it" - people are wacko about this stuff. Then one person posts that the color is lackluster and instantly you get people chiming in that they've cancelled their orders. Richard W. shows up on page 39 - you're welcome.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't participate in the forums "over there."

Wicked is very much a modern "theatre kids" production. If you weren't a theatre kid in the 80s and beyond, or had theatre kids during this period, Wicked likely isn't for you. I enjoyed it, but because of the above proviso [my kids were theatre kids during the 00s and 10s, so Wicked was well known].
I suspect you meant to post this in the - Wicked - thread :)

There better not be frozen grain halos and noise reduction in the audio like the Searchers release
So, it's not very good?
What is frozen grain halos? I googled it but can't find anything. Any screenshots (even from another blu-ray) to see what are we talking about here?
Also, pity about the noise reduction..

I’m sorry but there’s nothing wrong with The Searchers 4K/UHD.

Frozen grain can be a thing, haloing can be a thing, but ne'er the twain shall meet. Unless that person is referring to so-called sticky grain, or magnetic grain, which can follow objects in motion.

In any event, "frozen grain" of any kind isn't an issue with The Searchers.

With apologies. I believe I’m the source of the frozen and magnetic grain verbiage.

I’m certain that High Society will look as bad as N x NW and Searchers. And some will have a field day discussing the dupes. Why do we need dupes in 2025?
