The Saint - Where are the rest of the B&W episodes (1 Viewer)

There were 71 B&W episodes of the Roger Moore series The Saint.
A&E released 2 Volumes of the B&W episodes which covered the first 28 episodes, 12 in Volume 1 and 16 in Volume 2. I believe the last release was in 2005. Does A&E still have the rights to the show? Most reviews I have read say the earlier B&W episodes are better than the later color episodes because the earlier shows are based on the original novels. All episodes have been released in the UK and Australia . All the color episodes have been released in region 1. Some say the Australia disks are region free but
I saw an Amazon review of Vol 2 B&W of the US version which said the person bought the Australia version thinking they were region free but they were not.
Anyway is it just a lost cause to get the rest of The Saint in region 1.

I don't have an answer for you, but you can get a region free player for around $50.00. Heck, chances are that the player you own now can be made to play any region with a few clicks on your remote. You might want to check this out to see if you can.
