Does anybody have any idea if this title is ever going to show up on DVD?

Since they had just recently released it on VHS (and LD, I think) when DVD broke, I figured they'd put out a DVD. 5 years later I'm still waiting.

I want this on DVD, too. The LD has features unavailable on VHS. I doubt that we will see it. There doesn't seem to be much demand for Stones videos. I'm a big fan, and this disappoints me.

Plus, this isn't just a Stones title. It has great performances by John Lennon, Eric Clapton and (especially) The Who, among many others.

    And Yoko Ono!
Seriously, I love my LD of this and the DD mix is amazing considering the age of this material.

Dangnabbit! I knew, when I saw this thread title earlier this morning, that someone sooner or later would bust on Yoko Ono. I just knew it.

Gosh Darn It, I like that song! It's got an awesome groove and it's outrageous. It's fun. I'm probably the only person on the entire HTF that likes Yoko Ono. I'm serious. If you gave me the choice between listening to Paul solo or Yoko solo, I'll take Yoko.

OK, back on topic, I'd buy this one. Some amazing performances all around. This is the CD that got me into Taj Mahal.

Did the Dirty Mac ever produce anything besides this one version of Yer Blues? I imagine they didn't record any studio stuff but was their anything else besides this one song?

Generally, the rule seems to be that if a musical performance video is any good, it is not available on DVD !

(Please no counter-examples - I know them all, and they are all great recordings of mediocre performances.)

I'll buy it if it is released. I never got around to buying the LD. I always wanted it but I never bought it hoping it was going to come out on DVD.

    Still waiting.
