    you just made my day! I am a huge horror fan and I loved this movie.... I knew part 3 was in the works but didn't hear that part 1 was in the works too! [​IMG] I signed the petition and hope it works!!

    Thanks for the info on the ROTLD dvd release! Unless I missed it, do we have an actual release date yet? When can we expect to hear from MGM if our petition (which I just signed) was sucessful? I to, have an old copy-of-a-copy on vhs but look forward to replacing it with a brand new 16:9 special edition dvd. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    No specific date has been given, it's only been said by MGM that it'll come out in 2002.

    Marty, you'll definitely get half your wish, the DVD *will* be anamorphic widescreen.
