    Finally! According to the bits:
"March 4th - Blue, White, Red, Blue in the Face, Smoke and Stepfather II, The Duke, Blank Check, Heavyweights, Man of the House, First Kid, A Kid in King Arthur's Court, Basil, Gone Fishin', Boys, The Ref, A Low Down Dirty Shame, Born Yesterday, Green Card, One Good Cop"
This is a Disney title, so I'm worried that it will be pan and scan. Any word on aspect ratio for the above titles?

    Woo!
The Ref, The Trois Couleurs Trilogy and Smoke. Excellent news!
Extras would be nice, but just a decent transfer would be enough for me.

Outstanding! The Ref remains an excellent comedy. It's such a shame that Demme had died before it was given a proper release. Far underrated among most comedies (probably people who imagine it as just a Dennis Leary comedy).
As long as it's OAR, I'm completely there.

I've been waiting a long time for "The Ref" to hit DVD so it had BETTER be OAR. If not, some Disney exec will be smelling like cat piss.

Anyone come across any specs for this yet?

It's due out in less than a month, and can be had for under $10 online, but I can't even find AR information, much less any other features. I'm figuring at the price it will be a bare-bones release.

I'm hoping Disney isn't cheaping out on us regarding presentation quality though.

They've been pretty good recently about anamorphic WS.
    Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Awesome! The Ref is one of the funniest Christmas movies ever, and has some rather brilliant acting.

Here's hoping I can buy the disc (i.e., it had better not be full frame).

What a shame such a good movie has probably the Worst Movie Title Ever!

Which studio genius thought of that one.

You think the English title is bad? Well, here's the German title: "Don't panic - Good hostages are rare".
    Now, THAT'S bad. [IMG]

I both called and e-mailed Disney/Buena Vista, they had no info on specs for the 'Ref' DVD. Funny innit?

But will it be 16x9 enhanced? The Disney link doesn't say.
