I purchased this a while back and just got around to watching it...

Very violent, but a fabulously filmed movie. Great soundtrack as well.

The version I have was released in Canada by Maple Pictures.

Of interesting note is the fact that the specs on case state the film is "letterboxed".

If fact, the film is 2.35:1 anamorphic. In addition, the DVD has an unlisted DTS 5.1 track available under set-up (not mentioned in audio options on case).

Highly recommended, thought-provoking, albeit violent film.

In case anyone in Canada avoided this DVD due to the stated specs, snag it... 'tis a good one.

It is an excellent film.

Plus, despite the constant comments of it being so violent, I would guess there are at least 100 movies released each and every year which are not only far more violent, but also meaninglessly violent.
