Good news. I wonder if the Gabriel albums includes UP which was already delayed or if this is three new albums. If these are Hybrids, I will probably pick up all of the Gabriel, Steely Dan, and a few from the Police.

    *does happy dance*
Note: The Police compilation, Gaucho, and Allman Bros titles are out on DTS.
I'll definitely be picking up all the Police (except probably the compilation, as it would be redundant), Steely Dan, Gabriel and Allman Bros.

I was at the new Micro Center center on Pleasant Hill Rd (Duluth, GA), and was amazed that they not only had DVDs and and video games, but they had a section devoted to not only CDs, but SACDs and DVD-As. I guess Best Buy isn't the only game in town (local-wise).

Did someone mention beer! I'll make the drive from Roswell to talk about audio/HT with you guys. Of course, being from the DVD-A camp, I need to have this approved by my mentor, Mr. K![IMG]

This is an awesome list from Universal. I love what Universal is doing with SACD -- great titles released regularly, and cheap! Just this evening, I found the Getz/Gilberto SACD at a Compact Disc World store in New Jersey for just $11.99. I never even bought the CD, but I love "The Girl From Impanema". By the way, this store had the CD for $14.99. [IMG]

I saw in the latest ICE Magazine, that Up would be released in SACD by the end of the year.

I wonder if they'll do the lengthened version of Live at Fillmore East for the Allman Bros (e.g., the Fillmore Concerts)?

And, for example, what about all the extra tracks by the Police on the box set Message in a Box?

For now, I want the extra stuff more than I want the improvement in quality from CD to SACD. Someday maybe...
