I was reminded of this movie the other day, and found that it wasn't available on DVD yet. I'm not all that surprised (I'm not sure if anyone else actually remembers this movie), but I'd like to be able to own a copy of it. It was mentioned in another thread that Warner might own the rights to this one. Is this the case? Any chance we might see a proper DVD release of this film at some point?

Warner owns it via the pre-1986 Metro Goldwyn Mayer package owned by Turner.

I'd like a DVD of this film, too...it's an OK adaptation, but still very cool. I wouldn't mind seeing a DVD of this with The Dot and the Line (also from a story by Norton Juster) as an extra.

I'm pretty sure a WB DVD would have a 1.78:1 anamorphic transfer with at least the original mono.

I've been wanting to see this again for years. I saw it on cable about when I was about 4 or 5 quite a few times. I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Great film! MGM had it last, but I would
not be surprised to see that Warner owns it now.

Hope it finds its way to a release.
