The passing away of PSB parent company David S Simmons :( (1 Viewer)

David S Simmonds, the founder of Lenbrook, the parent company of PSB speakers has passed away at 72 years of age on January 14, 2002.
Having grown up in Ajax/Pickering I always knew PSB speakers were headquartered here at Lenbrook in Pickering Ontario and thought it was kind of cool. Last summer I was determined to buy into the local speakers and bought a full set of PSB image speakers that I love very much.
PSB started independently, but some time ago, Lenbrook bought the PSB speaker company and PSB has been headquarted in Pickering ever since. Lenbrook owns both NAD and PSB speakers, as well as distributing Marantz. I recently stumbled onto this on a UK website while searching for info on the new NAD receivers due out this year:

I imagine Paul Barton knew David Simmons very well. May he rest in peace.
