It is kinda funny, but not really necessary.
    Enterprise is a great show.

    No, you are right.
I guess I'm just a little defensive cause this show is actually good.
I like the Onion. It's kind of like a thinking man's Mad Magazine.

I was thinking that Enterprise was great until I saw last week's episode.
Three episodes in to the series and they are already resorting to the "crew hallucination" plot lines? Uggh. I can't believe they ran out of original ideas after two whole episodes.
Still, the show has a lot of promise, and I will continue to follow it. I just hope that Paramount can prove me wrong and meet their "fresh take on the ST universe" goal. One of my only other complaints with the series is the music in the opening sequence. Graphically I think it's great, but with a more classical theme like other Star Trek shows, it would have been much more powerful (IMO). It felt like they were trying to appeal to the wrong audience (though I'm sure they are indeed trying to appeal to a different audience...)
I saw the Onion thing too, we actually get the print version of the paper here in Madison. Thought it was pretty funny. I've found that people either love the Onion or hate it. [IMG]

The opening for Enterprise makes me want to vomit. I tape the show so I can fast forward it.
Now where's that smiley that blows chunks? [IMG]

Oddly, I'm getting to where I almost like the theme music from the title segment. Still prefer an orchestral score, though. The images, though, are cool--but weighted toward where we are now in space. Why not some CGI of astronauts on Mars? Show some imagination!

    I have some questions:
Why is it in the future that
A)We all wear universally colored unitards?
B)V Necks come back into style?

The crew wear uniforms almost like on a military craft. It's not what's worn in civilian life. IIRC, Archer had on some fairly standard clothes at the beginning of the pilot. Maybe even jeans.
