Okay, so it's like American Idol, but in search for love/husband, not a pop star.

Laura is an uber-beeyotch, but she might score some good hosting possibilities down the road because she can really dish it out.

Lisa has some scarily big teeth.

The selection of guys these 3 women had to go thru was brutal. I guess if you are a stock/options trader, you're Lisa's type, or if you bring your family with you.

She's a great looking gal that will make the right man very happy. Alot of the guys they showed last night were totally out of her league even before they introduced themselves. Like any smart and beautiful 25 yr. old woman with high moral values and wealth, she is going to be most attracted to someone well educated,of good moral fiber, highly motivated to maintain a high level of wealth and health,25 to 39 yrs. of age,and definitely ready to be married and start a family.

Am I the only who has that "Stupid Cupid" song running through their head when they watched this show? I got the song in my head from it being sung by one of the American Juniors contestants last week.

I'm sure they went out of the way to show us the losers.

I thought the 2 girlfriends were stealing the show from the actual contestant. My wife didn't even realize that the quiet girl in the middle is the main character.

They've got to tame down that Laura or she'll totally ruin the show. She is just spoiling for a fight with every guy.

She thinks that the guys are there for her amusement.

Very disappointing debut for this show. [IMG]

I have a feeling my interest in this show will mirror American Idol. Fun to see all the weirdos but once the competition gets going I lose interest. We'll see.

Thus far I can say that even though Lisa is a beautiful woman, she seems a little bland to me. Laura needs to lighten up, but I suppose the show would be boring without someone to get on your nerves. I'd like to hear what her ex has to say about her [IMG]

This show just hasn't clicked for me. The Bachelorette gets the pick of 20 hunky guys, Lisa gets every weirdo each town can come up with. Jeesh!

She is a glutton for punishment. I woulda walked.

Whats with CBS repeating the first episode Tuesday night? I sat down thinking it was gonna be a new one and it was the same thing as last week. Is CBS nuts?

    Wonder how the ratings are.

I agree with John, what was up with the repeat of the first episode? I don't beleive I saw it listed as being a repeat in the tv schedule. It seems like this was pulled a couple of times on the America's Next Top Model show awhile back.

Cupid was repeated for a two-fold reason:

    1. To attract any new viewers for Cupid
    2. To not air new programming against Fox's All-Star Baseball game.

OK, so it wasn't me. I watched it on tape the next day & remembered most of it, so I wondered if I somehow was watching something I'd taped a week earlier, yet the ads for The Amazing Race seemed to be for this week's episode. [IMG]

Same here Chris, I taped it too expecting a new episode. Patrick explained it perfectly though. I'll be taping the next episode to keep up with it.

Well, Lisa dodged a bullet last night. The final 2 were Hank and the lunkhead that sounds like Ahnuld. America voted for Hank, and the happy couple decided to forego the $1 million dowery by not getting hitched on TV, rather, they wanted to have a more normal wedding with all their family and friends in attendance. Good luck to Hank and Lisa!

Too bad, I wanted Robert to win just to see the reactions. The end result would have been the same so why not get a little entertainment out of it. [IMG]

I think Laura and Robert would make a cute couple. And so would Kimberly and Renda. [IMG]

I checked in on this show every so often.
    Nice eye candy if anything.
Hank did seem like a nice guy but boy was that Blonde boy a cutie.

Evan? He reminded me of Ryan Seascrest (host of American Idol).
