I'd list what I think will win (not necessarily what I think should win) but it would look like I just copy and pasted Patrick's post.

I don't know if Reznor and Ross will win the original score award though. Personally, I thought it was the best score that I've heard this year but I think Zimmer or Desplat will win. Also, I think that Hailee Steinfeld might beat out Melissa Leo for Best Supporting Actress.

Of all my picks, the two I'm rooting for the most are Hailee Steinfeld for Actress in a Supporting Role and The Social Network for Best Picture.

It is my not so humble opinion that Hailee Steinfeld delivered the best female performance of the year. She should really have been nominated for best actress, not supporting role. And in that category, I would have still picked her over Natalie Portman.

Side note: If the self-promoting Melissa Leo beats out Hailee Steinfeld, I might be tempted to shut the broadcast off right then!

The King's Speech was a good movie, no doubt, but not a great one in my opinion. It has no rewatchability factor. And as a collector of movies, rewatchability factor is high on my list of attributes.

The Social Network, on the other hand, is highly entertaining even after multiple viewings. Snappy dialog, excellent score, and fantastic visuals. It truly was the best movie of 2010.

Glad to see Pfister get the win. If only for the fact he's one of the few who still shoots in Panavision

I'm torn between thinking Kirk Douglas was an absolute hoot, and being appalled by the disrespect he showed the Supporting Actress nominees.

I kind of thought the whole thing was kind of douche chilling. Not because of Douglas's speech issues, but the Melissa Leo speech seemed pretty bad to me. It looked like Douglas was being whisked offstage at one point. Franco and Hathaway didn't seem to know what to make of the whole thing. It all seemed kind of awkward.

My penchant for guessing no more than 1 of 4 of the shorts/docs categories correctly has been broken by getting 2 docs categories right, and 2 shorts wrong, so yay for me.

I still detest the decision in recent years to have a famous performer sing over the In Memorium slideshow. It should be about the deceased, not Celine Dion. I also don't like the implication that Lena Horne's death was more important than everyone else combined.

I do applaud the decision to not use the audience audio over the slideshow, however. It always seemed in poor taste to see the audience rate the dead with their applause.

Hmm, went 19/24 (if I did my tabulations correctly).

Cinematography was a toss-up, and I like Deakins work more.

Director should not have been a toss-up, but I'm truly surprised Fincher didn't get this one.

Missed on the Foreign film (always a guess), and 2 of the Shorts categories.
