Yeah, I thought it was weird that Holly wasn't into Threat Level Midnight. Very out of character. Anyway, TLM made up for it. Funny as hell. I loved the emphasis on Toby's death even though you knew it was coming it was still hysterical.

They needed to have a Michael and Holly relational moment, but it was lazy writing from an established character standpoint.

I loved how everyone was really into it.

The fact that Michael could laugh at himself at the end made the episode, though.

Been a while since I participated in this thread.

The last few OFFICE episodes have been really good.

The show is back on track after what I felt was a slight

derailment.

Sorry to see this will be Carell's last season.

Meh...I was lukewarm on 'Threat Level Midnight'. A couple of funny moments, but nothing special. I guess I was spoiled by the far superior 'Lethal Weapon 5' in 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'.

I have to agree the show is back on track. The last few episodes have been great, and I appreciated the former cast member cameos in Threat Level Midnight (Hardin, Jones, etc).

For a second, I wondered, "Are they bringing back Packer to potentially take over the office when Michael leaves?"...and then that dream was quickly crushed.

So, this was an episode rooted firmly in the office with somewhat realistic conflict for an...office. I, for one, loved it. I didn't laugh out loud often, but I still really liked it. Todd Packer humping was hilarious to me. And Dwight's "accent" really fascinated me, for some reason.

Bunch of episodes appeared on my DVR this week.

It recorded some episodes I had initially missed so

bear with me that this may be a few weeks old.

One I need to briefly talk about....

It starts off with Stanley taking a sip of Jim's OJ,

not realizing it's his coffee.

So what else is it that Stanley won't recognize?

That entire opening with the moustache on Pam,

the shetland pony and Michael with the crooked

teeth and hand puppet had me rolling on the floor.

Sometimes this show hits its mark and then bats

it out of the park. That opening was one of those

moments.

Not a fan of Will Ferrell at all.

Wish he wasn't coming to the show.

I'm thinking he's probably going to be much closer to his "Stranger Than Fiction" persona than his traditional 'will ferrell comedy' roles.

I like Will Ferrell, but I will admit his schtick has gotten old. It's only 4 episodes so even if it's bad, we can move on. I think it will be something in between 'Stranger Than Fiction' and his traditional roles. Maybe Rod Burgandy-ish, but not as over the top.

For all of my problems with The Office lately, that final scene was wonderfully done. Expertly written, and amazing work from the entire cast. I haven't been moved that much by the show in a long time.

The Jim/Dwigt subplot was ridiculous, but somehow funny anyway. I'll never tire of Jim fucking with Dwigt, no matter how inconceivable it may be that Dwigt still falls for it.

Ditto. After watching the show for so many years, it was great to see Michael have a huge win in his personal life.
