The Night Stalker / The Night Strangler Re-release (1 Viewer)

Not sure if this is the correct thread to bump up or not . I've had the Anchor Bay Night Stalker since it came out .I was wondering if this is the best version or is the MGM better ? The AB is also double sided . Is the MGM double sided also ? thanks for any info i can get on this .

You definitely want to get the MGM release. There is an audio glitch on the AB version of The Night Stalker in the scene where Kolchak is at the pool. After the FBI agent has left Kolchak gets paged over the intercom system that he has a phone call. But on the AB version, you don't hear the page! He suddenly looks around, gets up, and goes to the phone.

You also get some brief but good interviews on the MGM release with Dan Curtis on both features.

The disc is double-sided.

Picture quality is also slightly improved on the MGM version.
