I haven't seen this show since I was a kid. I miss it. I miss the Lubbock Babes.

Deep Discount DVD isn't bad when you're looking for bargains. I've shopped from them a few times and for the most part I'm happy with the service. Just be wary of buying multi-disc TV shows from them. When it comes to shipping, they don't package their products too well and the discs will almost certainly dislodge during transport leaving you with scratched DVDs. The good news is that DDD will replace any damaged sets with a new one.

For shows...can only think of 4...that have already been released but that are really slow or not promised for completion:

1. Have Gun Will Travel
2. Naked City
3. Wanted: Dead or Alive
4. Green Acres

Very happy that (1) "Mission Impossible" is on it's way (2) "Hill Street Blues" is being released fairly quickly and (3) The Jackie Gleason Show from Miami Beach - The Honeymooners Hours have just started with volume one.....if they'll (MPI) just throw in a few of the "variety" theme shows in the mix....that would be really good.

So many good shows....

Hawaii 5-0
It Takes a Thief (Robert Wagner & Eddie Albert)
Man From Atlantis
Prey
Captains and Kings mini-series

And Season 1 and 2 of Earth Final Conflict! They're being released in the UK so North America soon yes! please!

Aside, I looked up It Takes a Thief on IMDB and it says that it has a DVD release. ??? I clicked on the DVD button for amazon.com the commentary was that it wasn't released yet but you can sigh up for it. That's a bit underhanded. Yea, I'll be e-mailing IMDB for them to look into this.

Couldn't help myself, I have to give a second 5 list:

1) The Untouchables
2) 77 Sunset Strip
3) Patty Duke Show
4) The Invaders
5) The Wonder Years (my only "modern" show - purely nostalgic for me)

And these are only shows that have seen no releases. There are others, like "The Naked City", "Have Gun, Will Travel", "The Swamp Fox" and "Elfego Baca" that I want to see get more releases.

Gary "it's really tough to limit picks to only 5, or even only 10, because there are so many classics still untouched" O.

A little tough to pick 5 from my remaining list but here goes...

1) Bionic Woman (R1)
2) Six Million Dollar Man (R1)
3) How The West Was Won ('70's miniseries, James Arness)
4) The Invaders (let 'em land for the "Jeff's" at HTF :emoji_thumbsup: )
5) The Man From UNCLE, by a "photo-finish". The last pick is always the tough one for me.

Big recent announcement-reasons for
htf_images_smilies_dance.gif
'ing:

- Mission:Impossible "Good Luck, Dan" (1st season Steven Hill tribute)
- Addams Family "The DVD's are in. Why, Thank You, 'Thing'"
- Police Squad (Who needed a 'Laugh Track' for this one? Gotta be one of the best short-lived series in TV Histoy, IMO)

Great thread! Henry, you reminded me that I need to add a couple to my signature. Thanks! Similar interestes for sure.
Roy, I saw your mention of the "Honeymooners" from the Jackie Gleason Show. I didn't know that is was available. Been wanting those for a while. Thanks for the info!
Special "Thanks" to the "Bionic" crowd out there (6M$M). I knew I wasn't waiting alone for those R1 releases :emoji_thumbsup:
Gary, that Sig says it all!

I'm glad to see that Just The Ten of Us has been mentioned several times! I read somewhere that ABC later regretted cancelling the show as it had a loyal audience, me among them!

Really only three shows I'd like to see on DVD:

1. Ed Far and away the one I want most. I hate that it's stupid music rights that have tied up the release.

2. Mad About You, Seasons 3 and 4, though I'd be pretty happy just to have S3 out.

3. St Elsewhere - one of the first dramas I watched and was hooked on.
