I don't believe I've ever seen this in OAR.
It's fantastic and should be released - does anyone know who owns it and who we can pester? It surely deserves to be released most strongly.

I'm not certain, but I think FOX owns the rights. I have been waiting for this one myself. Great film!

Fox did release this to theatres, but again, it was one of those crazed split rights situations where video went to Embassy.

As such, MGM are the current rightsholders for home video on THE NAME OF THE ROSE, so only they can pull the secret book from the shelf and get this available again.
