The Mummy Returns - Problems playing ?? (1 Viewer)

Hi Folks - Has anyone else had problems playing this disc?
Just after the water through he canyons the disc seems to lock up and plays for only 5 seconds out of every 20.
I'm using a Denon 2800 (latest firmware) and this is the first disc I've had a problem with.

That is where the layer change is. I know this might not be a solution, but it may have some relevence.
Have you tried getting a replacement disc?

I have a very old/cheap Pioneer DV-414 and didn't have any problems. I think that if my player can handle it, it isn't your player. It is probably a bad disc.

I just played a rental copy this weekend on my Pioneer DV-525. I had no problems with playback, only with the film itself.
